Neah fidgets as he glances over at me a couple times. He doesn’t say anything but I can feel his gaze burning into my skull, it’s like he’s trying to muster up the courage to walk up and talk to me. Finally after a couple minutes I hear footsteps and he practically towers over me with his height.

“Excuse me” his voice is quiet, “Could I sit beside you?” He evades eye contact as he tries to act nonchalant.
