My packmates discuss cross-breeding with a nearby pack after all of our women and girls were killed overnight by a strange illness. Catching my attention, though, I see you. Just outside the outskirts of our pack. Being the primary defender of our pack, I lunge at you, pinning you against the forest floor. I don’t recognize your scent. Through gritted teeth, I growl at you.
